2015 CBSA Guangzhou Open 9ball on 9ft (8-11 July2015) China

Carlo loses 11-10 to Xu, another skinny little Chinese player who appears to be a teenager. He could be a clone of the younger Ko brother.

In the last rack Xu broke, made the one, two and three balls and had perfect position on the four. The other five balls were basically hangers. And he didn't break that hard. Makes me wonder about that magic style rack they were using and the Chinese ref who used it. I guess I'm just the suspicious type. ;)

Carlo was the last non Chinese player left. It's going be hard for a foreigner to get out with the money over there, although Darren managed to do it before. He had to overcome the odds to do it, but Darren is strong that way. He doesn't let anything get in his way!

The charts seem to say that the women's finals and the men's semifinals start 2 hours from now.

Yes that's right
At 1pm local time 1am EST) about 1 hr from now
Men's Semifinals

My guess is they will show this cracker Wu v Chang Jung Lin match http://www.kktv5.com/social/80209822

Other semi Chang Yu Lung v Xu Xiaozong

Women's final Chen SiMing v Han Yu (race to 11)
My guess is it will be shown on TV table http://www.kktv5.com/social/76670786

Chang Jung Lin should be slight favorite over Wu cos he is more inform
I would like to see Wu win this whole thing but on paper either Chang will snap this off Chang Yu Lung is the one to beat. He will grind and suffocate his opponents . Nothing fazes this guy

The women's final can go either way. Chen is technically better but Han Yu has stronger mental game.
:)

Well, l-o-n-g match. Chen defeated Han 11-7 for the title. Well played and close most of the way. Chen missed 3 shots and fouled once. Han missed just one shot but fouled 4 times. Chen had 5 B&R's, Han had 3. Only one dry break in the match (Han) and one wet-but-illegal break (Han).

Tough loss for Chang, with Wu winning 13-7. Chang had break problems, going dry once, illegal once, and having to push out three times. He won only three games on his own break (of which two were B&R).

Great event
