Well your entitled to your opinion I happen to love this format I hate the concept of giving "losers" a second chance , pool is one of the only sports that does it ,,
I find giving " losers " a second chance dumb

Morra looks shaky all of a sudden. Misses the 2 after a nice bank on the 1 after the break. Nick at the table down just 10-8 now.
 
Bank of the five ball cross side seals the deal. Morra, as we know, is a former Derby City Bank Pool champion, so no surprise here.

Albin Ouschan vs John Morra for the title. Albin comes in with better form, but I'm guessing John will get this one.

Should be a good one. The women's event really ran to form. The three best woman players in the world as I see it are Han Yu, Ga Young Kim and Siiming Chen. Three of them reached the semis.

Kim and Fu are both on fire right now. Very tough match to pick a winner.

Interestingly, he beat Wu Chia-Ching in 2004 and Ko Pin-Yi in 2006. The latter then won it the next two years.

That guy is a beast, arguably the best talent from chinese taipei, he was once quoted saying " if he really practice, wu chia ching can't touch him ".

He's known to dislike practicing, now spends everyday drinking n have quit pool entirely, runs a 2 table snooker hall in taipei.

3 peat for world junior championship, that's a strong statement.

Yang Ching Shun made a come back this time, but he could not qualify from the 3-day qualifying round.

qualifying round is tough, each day around 128 players play consecutive knock out matches until last men standing (2 for each first 2 days and 4 for the third day). so 8 from qualifying round get through to group stage.

The atate that Yang is in is just sad, formerly asia money ball king who easily dispose orcollo in his heydays :(

Unfortunately, chose a life away from pool .
