It sure would be nice if the nationals were held the same week/time every year, that way MORE players might able to plan ahead. hint hint

Actually part of the scheduling of the Nationals is based on criteria beyond some of the USBA's control. The date of the Pan American Championship is one example. For edification here is a chart. The venue may change from year to year which is another variable. And we do not want to conflict with other tournaments both nationally and or internationally. For these reasons and others it behooves the USBA to schedule it's Nationals as soon as possible. If it were up to me next year's Nationals would be announced at the conclusion of this year's nationals.
