So Shane placed 5-6th in the USBTC 10 Ball ($650), got knocked out in the 9 Ball, and still playing in the 8 ball. What was the f&*^%ing point of missing the Turning Stone or China Open for that?! I'm starting to think he was contracted under CSI to play in the tourney since he won the 9ball last year and must defend. Just doesn't make sense.

Jeff ignacio , Lil Wu (Wu Kun Lin) thru to quarters
Alex on hill 10-7 v Chang Yu Lung
Biado v Kevin Cheng still 9-9

Han Yu thru to women's final. Her opponent likely to be Liu Shasha who always performs at such big tourneys.

Shane made the right decision for him. You can get burned out on all the travel and he has always done well in this event. Just having a bad tourney is all. I wouldn't worry too much about him. He is a smart and very healthy young man.

P.S. He just made 22K last month here playing on the small tables! Why not give it another go? Shane is looking for the best opportunities to pad his bankroll and add to his portfolio. Like I said, he's very smart!
