Can someone please explain why it's like 350$ entry n 33-64 gets 1500$? The qualifier was like 150$ n I may have the two entry fees backwards but I don't understand why they r paying people 5x they're entry or over a 1000$ to go two n out?

I think it's great especially for people traveling but if u didn't have to qualify n r within 1000$ travel expenses I don't see why u wouldn't play. I know there's no tournament like that in America. And it's good for the players that had to go through the qualifier but for qualified players It's just garunteed 1500$ if u play n like I said the entry was around 300$

There are few tourneys that pay this well in pool. This is like big tourneys in big sports. Like for eg. in a tennis Grand Slam event, the top players who qualify into main draw of 128 pay almost no entry fee and if they lose 1st round, they get prizemoney $20-$30K.

Pool is still not in league of big sports so majority of tourneys (especially those without qualifiers where any Tom Dick or Harry can play), the prizemoney if you lose the 1st round or 2nd round is not enough to cover the entry fee. :)
