Looks like Oct 16-22 (Sun-Sat) according to another thread. I think the (Sheraton?) hotel it was at last year was said to want it back.
Thanks for the info Bob. How was that venue? I was at the Open in 2014, but missed 2015. The 2014 venue was WAY too crowded.
I thought 2015 was fine. The hotel offered very nice rates and a tournament-special dinner buffet. There are other places to eat within walking distance. Parking was $5/day with a coupon from the hotel.
The arena setup was pretty much standard commercial bleachers unlike the plywood mistakes at some previous Opens. Some of the chair placement in the VIP/school table area was a little crowded IIRC.
Just bring a plaque and show up when ever u want, its very informal
