Bold call with Fu! I'd love him to win it purely because I think it would be great for the game if someone from Asia was world champ, but he needs to tighten up a bit.
Although he is emotionless on the outside, he was clearly nervous last night and missing shots by a mile, Selby will punish him for those...so needs to up his game...however he is capable!
Well Fu collapsed and now down 0-5 to Selby. Too many errors too tired plus Selby just a machine and in top form. Not surprising they say he is the hardest working
Fu is the Comeback King this year but do not see him coming back a third time in a row and against a player like Selby. He is running out of gas
The only guys who can beat Selby now are Ronnie, Higgins, Ding
Agreed, Fu has started slowly in both his matches so far, but there's no chance Selby will allow him back in from 5-0, he's too solid for that!
im not so sure about selby, he isnt in that great form imo, when fu finds some stroke now, its far from over!
6-2 now, hopefully its a close game, but one of Selby's strengths seems to be winning without playing attractive snooker (he can of course clear the table, but has a better ability to win scrappy frames than most).
That said, as you say, if Fu comes out tomorrow and wins the first 2 its all to play for!
