2019 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

Thanks for the kind words.

I can add back in the percentages. Where do you suggest to place the races lower than 7? We only had a couple this year, and I placed them at the bottom of the wins for races to 7, and ahead of the loses for race to 7.

I could move them strictly by percentage. But if you take it to an extreme, someone could play a race to 1 and be at the top:)

What do you guys think of a 6 ball ghost section? To encourage more participation amongst the lower level players? IDK if that will help. Recording and sharing matches has become much easier over the past 10 years, but our ghost participation has not grown, and maybe is even less.

Your welcome. Like others that do what you do, you deserve at least a thanks for your time.

As for the % and the number of the set. Well, is it possible to put people's races in categories?

For example:

9 ball....BIH category

Race length....win %......player.....table info

I like a 6 ball ghost category as well. We all have to crawl before we can walk.

I also like an ADVANCED category for races longer than ~15 for 9/10 ball.

Also, AR area for any length of race of 3 or more.

In the end, I'm sure whatever you decide will be good for all.

Thanks again,

Jeff

I played the ghost tonight. It's a work night so with little time to warm up I decided to try an defeat the ghost in 6-Ball and try and put that one to bed. I ended up running 7 racks out of the gate and thought I'd see how far I could get. I ended up missing a cut shot with extreme left english to make shape on the 6 ball but over cut the shot for a miss in the 12th rack. Here is the video of a 11-0 victory in the 6-Ball ghost challenge.

I can't shoot tomorrow night but on Saturday I will have 6-7 hours to play other ghost challenges.

I thought this was the 2020 thread. I have posted it in the 2020 thread.
