yea, i figured so. phenomenal cueist, probably the straightest shooter in the world atm, but without the break and the jump he has no chance in my opinion. will be interesting to see though, and interesting to see against what fargorate he does have a chance.

I am guessing he is an underdog against top 50 i.e. around Fargo 790 and above. Who will outmove him in the moves department. He may have better chance against someone who is straightshooter but weaker in moves dept.
He has to win 5 matches to get into last 16.
He should have no problem disposing of lots of dead money minnows in his group for first 3 matches. In 4th match he goes up against Shaw. Now unless Shaw decides to go all out shooting contest to see who is best shooter in cuesports, Trump doesn't have chance against Shaw. Even if he somehow beats Shaw, he goes up against wily guys Garcia or Grabe (in final winners qualification match to qualify for last 16) and he would likely be underdog against either of them.
It will be good achievement already if he gets into last 16

This is pretty cool...a guy who used to play out of our room is in the field. Gonna be fun to watch how far he goes.... (Filler is on his side of the bracket, so.....heh heh)

Still pretty neat to see someone I know (even a little bit) on the bracket.
