Uh-oh, I almost feel guilty. Trying to get interesting in it. However Matchroom shows seniors snooker. Well I guess I should subscribe for another month just to support pool.🤷
Maybe they don't conflict. I hope.😉

Sky wins convincingly. Got several rolls, but played pretty solid. Killer Filler up next for the Bluegrass Badass

40 breaks in the 4 matches today -- 39 successful (wing ball every time), 1 fouled (wing ball pocketed), 0 dry.

Wow, what a performance by Fortunski against Shaw!

Pockets are playing a little loose, but as the cloth gets worn, it will get tougher.
Yup, a 5-pack (including a 9-ball) to end the match, after Jayson's only miss. The largest package in this event last year was 3 (twice).

Sorry if I missed the details, but is this really a single elimination race to 7? If so, these guys flew all the way over there for that?

Yes, this one is SE race to 7 (9 in the Finals), but one of the commentators mentioned another event not too far away next week, and then the big UK Open starting on May 17 in London.

It's more of a two-tourney trip for those who travelled to play, as the UK Open, one of the majors in Matchroom's lineup, starts on 5/17. In addition, even a first-round loser cashes for $1,750 at the World Pool Masters, so everybody has very strong action in this one.
