i would guesstimate that half of the quarterfinalists don't even play in the mixed doubles?

they are watering out the concept too, if you ask me. i doubt there's a demand for watching a jack and jill tournament every single PBS stop.

You may be absolutely right that the general pool fandom might not care too much about mixed doubles. But I'm really starting to enjoy those matches.

Young Mr. Vogel takes it down! Fearless and quick, he was fun to watch. He beat some strong, strong players, including Wu Kun Lin in the finals. I'm excited to see where Felix goes from here and what he accomplishes next.
