2026 JOY Heyball Grand Masters Finals

This should be the proper 8 ball world championship, because it is the harder 8 ball game.
Some pool big names are there trying to get the prize out off a chinese player... Almost impossible i believe.

FLOWCHARTS:

seems so, they have a clear advantage. maybe the korean guy park or gareth potts can do it. melling, orcullo may go deep too.

i watched a little on wpalive.tv yesterday, darren was getting beat by an australian guy

Orcullo has no chance

Potts and Appleton have won these and are always a threat but I suspect the newer gen of chinese players is too much for any non chinese

700k plus US is a hell of a prize

The money is coming from the company that makes the tables, Joy.
The sports arm of the CCP is said to be involved in funding as well. Don't know if that's 100% factual but it pops up whenever Heyball funding comes up. These big showpiece events are often linked to 'state' funding.

Seems accurate, Emily is taking that Roobet money now....

??
China has a couple national lotteries but online gaming is illegal. Roobet, btw, is a crypto-backed business in Belize iirc and is not available in some countries. Not China for sure.

no online gaming in china.
Yes, gambling is illegal in China, but it is estimated to be $11B per year. Many snooker tournaments have had bookies as the main sponsor, but the just-completed World Open in China was sponsored by a roasted eel company.

Did i say one single word about snooker having gambling interests as backers? Anyone with two eyes and half a brain knows about snooker's gambling connections. I was talking about this Heyball stuff or did you happen to snooze that part??? If you think the CCP is not involved you're a tad naive. Its more than tables and fish backing this event.
