No. I'm saying "viewer" count is inaccurate. Post how many viewer hours Raxx had and that's a more real number.

Ray, you are talking about viewer numbers supplied by ustream and I think that Jim is referring to viewer numbers supplied by his website.

You are correct that the viewer numbers (totals) supplied by ustream are very misleading, if not completely inaccurate. However from my very limited experience with the number of visitors that a website reports, it is probably much more accurate than ustream.

Ray, I plan on broadcasting a short "Lamp Show" to test some of my theories on the ustream numbers in the near future. I'll let you know the results or better yet you can help me by being one of the viewers.

Viewer count on websites can easily be manipulated as well. For example, when my show is placed on another persons website homepage....every person who visits their webpage counts as a "viewer". Doesn't matter if they actually watched the show or they were just passing through. This is why viewer hours is a much better yard stick.

Last weekend, I used more that three times the gigabytes than usual. That is why the viewer use for the tournament is accurate. Gigabytes don't lie. Ustream can tell you anything and you can't check it.

Jim,

Do you have any way to tell if people are watching a particular camera or a video interview or is all just lumped together as data transfer and website hits?

I wonder if there is some kind of tracking software available.

I looked into it and there are add ons for the players that can track and give stats. I will probably put them on eventually, but the only reason that I feel that I would need them now is so I can argue with you.
