25 racks

I will answer

Looking forward to receiving it. Any chance you will be available in this forum to answer any follow up questions about your run? Like maybe if we didn't understand something you said.

Yes Dan I will answer any of your questions about my player review commentary. Plus I will answer any and all questions if I recognize the buyer and or if it pertains to this run that I have been trying to promote.

Thank you

I also hope Danny comes around to answer a couple of questions.

Having watched it over the weekend I would have to say that, technically, it's not exactly the best production quality I've ever seen. (A surveillance camera?! Really?!) But putting that aside it's a very nice run and there are some very illuminating things to be gleaned from Danny's commentary and his patterns. I highly recommend all you aspiring 100 ball runners order a copy.

In fact, just to show the proof is in the pudding and all that, watching Danny's DVD motivated me to pull out the little Samsung camera I have and I was able to get a 112 on video today, using what I learned from Danny's DVD. My 14.1 play has been a mix of stuff l've learned in lessons from Dallas West, Ray Martin, and having watched high run DVDs by John Schmidt, and now Danny. If I can figure out YouTube, I'll put the run up later today or tomorrow.

You're on 1

Thank you Lou, I never expected to make a ton of $ from this. It does give me a boost knowing that I may have had some if any assistance in providing knowledge in order to help a true student of the game. I am still learning myself.

You be welcome, Danny.

So two quick questions: it appears to me that you have a definite preference for side of the rack break shots to the point of avoiding behind the rack breaks. True? And if so why?

My other question is that during the run you say something like: "...loosen up the 90." I think I know what you mean but I'm not sure. So what does that mean?

Congrats again on a very nice run.

I prefer traditional break shots at side of rack, not afraid of behind the rack b.s but if had preference would choose traditional b.s.on left side of table as it is easier for me to reach. If a frame has two decent traditional b.s.'s I will choose the the one that has the best key shots available and ignore that I may be stretching. As for your other question - there are two terms I use when referring to the 90 degree angle - 'freeing up' the 90 and 'holding up' the "". When freeing up the 90 I almost always use inside spin with a thinner hit on object ball. When holding up the 90 I almost always use outside spin - fuller hit on object ball. Hope yall don't think this is a bunch of B.S. :-) Thank you

No, it all makes sense. Thanks, Danny.

I haven't seen your 25 rack run yet but no doubt it will blow me away!! One of the most impressive performances I have ever witnessed live was back in 2008 in Kansas City in your challenge match against John Schmidt. You had three 100 plus ball runs in a race to 400 points!!!! I doubt that performance will every be equalled by anyone!!! It's especially impressive considering Schmidt hit you with a 113 his first inning.....

Danny:

Just finished watching your run. Very nice, thanks for the lesson. :)

Not a practical post

Nice run Danny! I wish you would have done that at the Make it Happen event last August!

Was wondering if you have even seen the run? Plus it would have been impossible since in NJ the races were very short. I prefer one on one match - ups with longer races. Although I did and still do consider it an honor to have been selected to compete and or even represent my country. Not everyone gets to say they were selected to play at such a 1st class event.

Greeting fellow 14.1 residents, editing work is finished on my run of 351, anyone who may want me to send them a copy may contact me here on this thread or through a pm. Just so's everyone is aware we were unable to get the last shot in that I missed (the ball that skidded). May have been due to the dvr camera which was not ideal for reproducing the footage but we were able to get 99.9% of the run in it's entirety. The cost is $35.00 here in USA and $40.00 over sea's. No fancy music or extra's on this dvd, just solid straight pool - with commentary of what I was thinking about during each of the twenty five racks (my personal best.) I will be using pay pal for most of the monetary transactions, thanks for supporting the game that I love to practice (thats my pitch).😄
my Email address = trecushionbilliards@hotmail.com

wow openly admitting to the editing , sorry doctoring of footage.
