Charlie those veneers came out better than my expectations.

It going to be one sweet cue!!!!
Its a great deal that seems to keep getting better.
Cant wait to see the finished product.

Sev, Wrapless, Matching veneers on butt, capped with Black, With a removable small bumper.
The only issue was the Mop wedge point (as seen in picture, Decided on three MOP dots in descendind size starting on the point. The veneers will also have 3 MOP dots as depicted, in the pic. Joint will be ivory but a shorter joint more with the time period , 2 shafts black collars, with ivory furrles triangle tips. Communications have been great, expect to hear from him sometime next week. It's like Christmas , cant wait. Charlie PS. He said the cue was American Walnut

I would not worry about the top of the wedge. Knowing Jerry he will inlay a matching piece of wood to complete it.

Oh man, i had cut out paper notched diamonds, cross, maltese cross, all sorts of different designs, laid them on the cue to see how they looked. The girlfriend said it was like dressing paper dolls. But the truth be known I didn't think about cutting the top of the wedge and replace the veneers, til the next day, after talking to him. Charlie D

I kinda thought a well done cross might of looked good, maybe a filiagree type deal above the wedge.
