2nd Annual Straight Pool Hall of Fame : nominees & suggestions

The data is very asymmetrical: Some years there were two week or more round robin tournaments, in others there were leagues stretching over months and resembling Major League Baseball. Often there was a tournament followed by several challenge matches in the following year.
I include every 14.1 event since 1888 I could find out about. These included events like the 2006 Accu-stats Challenge. My idea was that whenever first class 14.1 practitioners go head-to-head for prize money, it's an important event.
Clearly, in a sport which can have eight events in one year and no events for the next eight, record-keeping becomes problematic.
