we had a great time at the usba qualifier and watched some great matches.

we would like to thank the players and all of you who tuned in as you all helped make our weekend complete.

here are the players who competed and entertained us the whole time.

left to right: ramy nojah, bill johnson, jim shovak, bob schmaus, gary scharf, bassel elshaar, "zen steve" andersen, gary elias, jamil isreal, and mike bengles.

We should be Thanking sde and you for bring this wonderful game and tournament to Live streaming. Just hope the headaches you guys have won't stop you from showing other 3C tournament, if just from Michigan area.

Congatulations on a job well done! I'm going to try some of the same in Louisville at the DCC. The sport needs more positive support like this to get more people interested in the great game of Billiards.

there were a few things we had to deal with but the favorable responses we received outweighed the technical glitches. (and there were definitely a few of those)

we would and hopefully will do it again.

I would also like to see more streaming for 3C. I'll be playing in the Louisville qualifier. Seems like it will be a good venue.

thanks, if we can somehow get 3-c more airtime we may be able to eventually get it some tv exposure and even if only on an off channel it would be better than it is now.

Thanks Everyone!

I have been very busy since the tourney ended and finally have a minute to post.

Thanks to all of you that have added your kind words to this thread and to all that tuned in over the weekend to view the live 3 cushion matches. It is for you the fans of the sport (and hopefully those new to 3 cushion) that we put this event on a live stream.

A special thanks to the owners of the Hall of Fame in Warren, MI for allowing us to come in and take over 3 of their 9 foot tables in order set up and do the streaming. If any of you are ever in the Detroit, MI area, you must stop into this very nice room. The food is great, I was told that they have a world class chef.

There always seems to be problems when doing live streaming and this weekend was no exception. The internet connection is always critical and we had the problem of being disconnected many times. I was not sure why but after checking on the ustream help forums, I learned that other streamers were having the same problems. All of these disconnects caused the 16 matches that were streamed to be chopped into 43 separate clips.

I will try, over the next few days to add the player names to the clips, to help with finding the clip that you would like to view. It is time consuming so please bare with me.

Also thanks to Bill Johnson, Jim Shovak and the rest of the players that showed great patience waiting for the camera man before they started their matches. At times I could see the frustration on their faces and for that I apologize.

The commentators all did a wonderful job and my thanks goes out to them as well.

Curly, thank you my friend, for all your help and support. For those of you that don't know, I would not being doing the streaming if were not for all of his help and encouragement.

I am sure that I have forgotten someone and for that I also apologize.

Excellent job bring the game to millions around the world, well at least they had access to it. You guys were great.

Also congratulations to Jamil & Mike for their great finish. Good luck to you both in the Nationals, you earned the right to represent Motown :thumbup:

I have business in Louisville regularly and the folks I see say Pendennis is VERY nice. Enjoy!
