Once again, Kozoom is presenting a live feed of the 3 cushion European Team Cup Championship in Strasbourg. On saturday they will have the semi-finals featuring Caudron, Jaspers, Blomdhal and many others and on sunday the grand finale between the best European teams. The playing conditions and the matches are just exceptionnal here, I know it for a fact because I'm actually on site attending this wonderful event. Have a good time!

Do you know the schedule for Saturday? Matches have been starting at 9am local time, but I wonder if they will be starting later for the semis and finals?

Tomorrow, matches are starting at 9:00am local time (3:00am easter time) and you should have every 2 hours another round of the semi-finals. They are playing only 2 matches at a time on 2 tables and there are 4 players in a team so the n.1 and 2 from every team will play in the 2nd round. Matches will air until 19:30 tomorrow night local time.

Thanks for the info! I've been waking up at odd hours to what what I can of it for the past two days. Unfortunately, I missed the Jaspers/Caudron and Rudolph/Zanetti round, which looks like it must have been quite a show!

Thierry,

In an earlier thread I said that the matches were being held in the Netherlands. That's because I'm getting old and senile -- I read Schiltigheim, but my brain registered Scheveringen.

Also, it looks to me that the tables are playing a bit short. Blomdahl and Sanchez have both looked back at the table in wonderment after some short misses. Have you heard anything about this?

Indeed the tables are playing a bit shorter but it seems that the player here are used to this type of tables because this is what we find in Belgium Netherlands and France. So they tell me. The tables are Breton tables, a french table maker that has been building tables for more than a century.
