The Billiard Factory just finished installing a used Soren Sogard table in their showroom. I was the first one on it minutes after it was setup and it plays well, their pool mechanic did a nice job. Still need to mark the spots but it's ready to go.
Played for a few hours today, didn't want to stop. Most of the shots started coming back, and even though I was battling the slide of the new cloth a bit I ran a bunch of 3's and 4's (no 5+ yet!!). I used to average .7, I may not play enough to get back to that level but I should be able to manage a decent .5 with a few more sessions. Been playing pool very well lately, best I've ever played, so hard to give that up. 6 months ago when I was slumping a bit making the transition would have been a bit easier...
$5 an hour to play per person, he might be running a special to generate interest, not sure yet, I'll post back if he does. If anyone is in the Jacksonville area and wants to play send me a PM, I'm the house pro up there and am there pretty much every day at lunch time and some Saturday mornings as well.
