Ok,My friend and I play billiards every week.A few weeks ago he was faced with this shot.He was yellow and I was white.Can you guess how he made this very difficult billiard?

My choice would be two rails first, as follows:

I pictured in my mind how I would play it... scrolled down and found SJM's post was exactly what I was thinking!!!
 
Another shot available, though, in my opinion, much more difficult, is the stroke through. Hitting the red full, following three rails toward the white.

Shooting yellow he could have force followed through the red, going short, long, long to the white. This is not high percentage but it is makeable.

I don't know how to draw it the table, but I would shoot at the red full hit, high right (running) on the cueball, strong stroke. The red should bank short and clear, the yellow will follow a natural running track, 3 rails to the white.

could you do something very similar to this only instead doing a very thin cut on the red ball using top right english so that the yellow follows along a very similar path to what you said here?
 
Ok so it must be something creative.

Not sure how to use that virtual table so..

I feel like he may have gone off the face of the red, with left then over to the long rail and then back around keeping it short so when he returns to the long rail it will be 4 cushions. Not sure if the red would clear out in time not to get kissed but just a guess.

Yea Im not sure about that follow through shot. The yellow is going to want to stick too much.

Also since both balls are frozen I would not be surprised if he shot some sort of double kiss circus style shot.

Even if you beat the kiss, I think it's too short. Of course you might get it four rails or even five, but that's an awfully tough shot.

There's a kiss to beat on this choice, as the white is sent back toward the path of the yellow, which is why I don't care for it. Still, tell your friend he made a great shot.

On a 5x10 billiard table,that is a very difficult shot!! Considering the distance between the balls and the weight of them....It looks easy on here though
