Absolutely. The distance raises the degree of difficulty considerably. However for a fairly skilled player its a very makeable shot.
 
When he hit it,the white went out like lightning while his yellow slowly drew over and spun like crazy off of the second rail.This made beating the kiss no problem.The balls were traveling at completely different speeds.It was brilliant as far as I am concerned!
 
I don't remember a "how would you play this" thread on three cushion ever before on the main forum. Have to say that it was fun!

I have been playing pool for 17 years.I dabbled with 3-cushion here and there.But recently have come to the conclusion that it is hands down,my favorite discipline now! The only game I really enjoy on a pocket table anymore is Onepocket.The rest are too stressful!!LOL......Of course,I haven't competed in so long that the stress that comes with runout pocket games is too much to handle at times.Got to play under pressure a lot to get used to it,there's no other way!

I agree. All these "how would you play it" posts are fun. Great way to see how different people play different shots and the option to explain why.

Yes it was fun. Having not seen such a thread before I thought maybe it was not allowed in the main forum.

With the white frozen you don't need draw, moerate high medium stroke does nicely on this.

As to the shot posted here, I think it is a alternate version of "PLUS TWO" system. In this case, a top spin is needed to hold the CB down since it's far a way from the OB.
