As a 3 cushion player, I find it remarkable to watch the pros play.

Ah ok , I had no idea, would make sense as this is in August, and the verhoeven open has been moved to July, which is usually in August i believe and also hosted yrly at the Carom cafe

Flushing is a neighborhood in the borough of Queens on Long Island.

NY is pretty funky to get around. You've got the five boroughs(Queens,Bronx,Brooklyn,Manhattan, and StatenIsland) and then you have a crapload of little towns and neighborhoods in the boroughs. Steinway Billiards is also in Queens in Astoria. About 10min from the Cafe.
