Thanks Dan S.

As I poured through my old buddy's things, searching for items that will help cover his final expenses, I've found a group of older cue and case brochures. I plan to make several listings; enjoy them as our fellow member Stormin Norman did for many years.

Norm has 2 photos of cues...actual color pics with Tim's writing on the back providing prices for each cue. The box cues are $650 apiece!!!! And they thought I was crying for ol Norm...

Also included is a vintage business card with Bob Frey's name below Tim's listing the Georgetown Road shop address.

Also included is a more fancy color brochure (original not a scan) still from the Georgetown address.

The last brochure is one we all know with the bakini clad beauty caged behind a wall of cues. That too is an actual original brochure.

Lastly is a second business card listing the address at Leeds Avenue.

This stuff is hard to find and I hope it gets a new home with a die hard Scruggs fan. All proceeds go toward Norm's final expenses.

First $SOLD to drawman623@aol.com gets this rare collectable set.

These are really cool. However im afraid i couldnt own them as they would cause me to go into a depression everytime i looked at the prices lol. Nice offering and GLWS.

Besides, you got your EBONY MOBLEY buddy, you can't have everything, LOL

I have the same brochure as shown in the 3rd picture. It is in like new condition too. Have always loved Scruggs cues. Sure do miss Tim and Mike at the shop.

I also have all of those same photos and brochures in a night stand in one of my guest bedrooms. I even own cue no. 5 (with the maple windows and mother of pearl diamonds) in the right hand photo. And, yep, I only paid $240 for it in 1980. I was a broke college student and could only afford 1 shaft at the time, but since then I had Tim make me another shaft and re finish the entire cue right before he retired. Now the cue spends time in either my Fellini or Flowers case.

I also have some photos of Black cues with handwriting from Richard, from the same time period. Don't envy me, all of this just means I am "old"! LOL
