OMG….My heart aches after reading and seeing this table. Over a century old and this table was made
by Brunswick in its hey day when it dominated pool table manufacture. This table weighs a ton. I have a
photo copy of the Brunswick catalog from this era and the tables were incredibly crafted and assembled.

Screw all the other brands. Get this table. It’s an incredible piece of pool nostalgia and magnificently built.

Personally, I’d convert it to 4 1/2” (maybe even 4 3/8”) pool table pockets and of course, change the rails.
I’d also check to see what a 100 year old Brunswick 10’ pool table sells for in case converting it to pocket
billiards drives the price higher than a comparable table is selling for. IMO, it’s a great table as is for snooker.

i would get it restored and not change the size .... modifying the size will only hurt it. i think in the future (Professional players are running more racks) people will play on larger tables.

Thank you for the information. I hope to find a buyer sooner than later.

Changing the table rails was a feature on some of the 10’ Brunswick tables of this era.
Some models could be switched from pool to billiards by changing the rails. Those tables
came with two sets of rails. I believe the same could be done with the 10’ snooker tables.
The tables were originally constructed at one of the several Brunswick factories to do this.
