I stopped by Hardtimes briefly Sunday morning and saw that there are 3 new 3C heated Gabriels -for a total of 5 (2-Verhoeven?).

They were not in use. Is there a Socal 3C community that plays or practices there? If so-when? I would like to watch and learn some basics.

I'm hoping that since 3 tables were added-that there might be a number of
3C players that come in there. I don't get in there often-so I don't know if the tables get much play.

Any body know of a 3C room-or a room with 3C tables in Orange county, Ca?-or Riverside, Ca? I appreciate any recommendations.

When I was at Hard Times about 10 days ago they had 2 Gabriels and 4 new Verhoeven tables. They have had the Gabriels tables for several years and just added the Verhoevens. And yes, there are quite a few carom players that frequent Hard Times.

You can find rooms with carom tables in Orange or Riverside County by going to the USBA website www.usba.net and clicking on Billiard Rooms Nationwide on the left side of the home page. There are several listed there. A few that I have played at and have good equipment and many players are:

Oh cool. I was there a few months ago and Hard times only had the 2 heated Gabriels in the area where the snooker table used to be ( they moved the snooker table).

I have heard that the folks who own Hard Times are of the same family who owns and runs Eight Ball Billiards in Maywood, perhaps this is why they put in three new billiard tables. When I go to Hard Times there are not a lot of billiard players except an old guy named Bob.

for your responses. Ok. there are tables there. Just not the number or brands I thot I saw.

Do you think being this blind/forgetful and stupid will get in the way of learning to play 3C?

Maybe I was distracted watching the two handed 20/2 golf game on Big Bertha. Naaah--I'm just that loopy.
