True that the cue ball may not have left the cushion, but this path is impossible with only 2 cushions, so the referee has no choice but to validate the 3C shot. The referee cannot decide if the ball has left the cushion.Nice quiz.
There is a possible problem with shot 7B and that is the cue ball may not have left the cushion before it contacts ball 2. It is impossible to tell during the shot.
I slowed the shot down to .25 and it looks (clearly looks) like the ball was hit 1st.I think the path is possible with the cue ball contacting the long rail only one time with the contact on ball 2 during that single contact while the cue ball is still in the cushion. Whether the officials want to count such a possibility as a point is a matter of how the rules are applied. I don't know the particular UMB rule or decision that applies.
I've reviewed the real shot that you could see yourself here :I slowed the shot down to .25 and it looks (clearly looks) like the ball was hit 1st.
Guess a slight glitch in the App.
That was interesting - funny how personal preferences/comfort can make a tougher shot look worthwhile.Try this quiz, enjoy and share !
