3D Printed Balls

I'm at my dad's house without a pool table here, or pool balls. I printed a few balls to practice sighting and stroking. I put a flat bottom on them so they won't roll away.

Maybe I'll print full round ones and take them to the pool hall and hit them, ha ha.

I'm more of a autodesk inventor and autocad guy...fusion 360 not bad though

Once you learn FreeCAD, it's great to use. Initially not as intuitive as AutoCAD, but definitely just as powerful.

What kind of deflection are you getting, low or high?

You should think about downsizing them a good bit and scale them to a piece of sheet metal about the size of a movie poster with a pool table mock-up painted on it. Put magnets on the flat side of your printed ball and you could move the balls anywhere on the scaled table diagram. That could be a very dynamic teaching aid.

Almost 20 years of SOLIDWORKS for me. Ten of Catia V5, first used ACad over thirty years ago.
