4 Point Custom cue with Mother of Pearl inlays in forearm and butt end

I have a 4 Point Custom cue with Mother of Pearl inlays in forearm and butt end.

There are 8 Mother of Pearl circle inlays in the forearm (2 in each point), and there are 9 Mother of Pearl circle inlays in the butt cap.

The cue is missing the rubber bumper.

There are no makers marks anywhere on the cue, so I assume that it was custom made by some unknown cue maker.

The cue is 58 inches long, and the shaft has a nice long taper in it.

The wrap feels very ruff (worn out), and there are some nicks/dings in the cue.

I am not sure about the weight of the cue, but it does not feel too heavy (maybe it is around 19oz).

The joint appears to be a piloted 5/16x14 joint.

The cue appears to roll straight (but not perfectly straight)

If anyone knows who may have made the cue, than I would love to know who may have made it.

Please email me an offer if you are interested in buying the cue, or offering me a trade.

Thank you

I think its a viking custom shop. I just built a shaft for viking that matched your shaft collars.

PM to breakin8 about that.

Wondering if he might think anything else.

I was thinking maybe the same but not sure at all.

Well......curiosity got the best of me. I just bid on and won this mystery cue.

I will be curious to get the wrap off. There may be some things to learn. I wouldn't take it off except that it needs replaced.

Right now I am thinking perhaps Viking or maybe National. Anywhere between the late sixties to the late seventies I am guessing....but that's just a gut feeling....could be way off. Very hard to say and we may never know....but I will try to pin it down. In the mean time it will get the spruce up it deserves and a good home.

Thanks very much- payment to follow shortly, tomorrow by lunch at the latest. Good luck with the case sale, I am curious about that case....but not terribly curious.

PM sent with my contact info regarding transaction problem. Let's talk. I am not reactionary, tend to be understanding, and will try to help if I can.
