It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

So I don't know much about custom cues at all so I am leaning on all of y'alls expertise here. A guy at the pool hall I play at says he has a mint condition 4 point TS Hoppe with 3 shafts that he wants to sell me for $1200. Now I havent seen said cue yet (He is bringing it to the hall Saturday), but assuming it is in mint condition, does this seem like it would be a fair price? I know this isnt a ton of info and I'm probably going to get flamed but this is a lot of money for me to drop on a cue and I want to make sure I'm not getting hustled.

If the cue is straight, that's very much in line with market prices. Send me a PM if you want to text, I can help you with the value as you see the cue.

The shaft diameter will play into the value. If the points have veneers, that will add value.

$1200 for a 4 point TS is below market. Take a look at some of the TS in the for sale section and the prices are $1700 plus. With 3 shafts? Definitely below market if they are all original TS shafts.

Those would be asking prices.

And he never said with veneers. It could be a "fancy sneaky"...or even a plain sneaky.

It may very well be a fair market price on the cue.

I think we have to know more.

Im pretty certain it has veneers. I asked if it was a sneaky and he said no. As soon as I see it I will take pictures and upload them so you guys can get a better idea of the true value. I know its hard to say with my limited info.
