41 Ball Run

Here's a 41-ball run. I get short on the key ball and have to use right spin to come off the rail and I under cut it. I shot well, but the balls weren't cooperating. They weren't opening well and a lot of times I'd break them open and not have a shot, or be froze to one, etc., and all I could manage was 41. But, it was my fault this one ended. I missed a very makable shot.

Nice Shooting Lance. you played some nice patterns but i think in the end you were getting ahead of yourself and rushed that last shot !!!

Keep it up
Steve

41

How in the World do you play in a building that is so unlevel......
How come all the balls do not roll to that left side of the table.....LOL
Besides feeling a little sea sick after watching. I enjoyed seeing you shoot again. Should of had that last ball that you missed. I can tell you had position for a nice break shot but we all miss stupid shots to end runs.
Yes, like Stevie stated: you might of rushed that shot or you put inside english on that cue ball to spin it off the rail and you just hit it wrong. It happens. You did good. Keep up the good work.

Humidity

Those racks were opening up like caca poopoo!!! I've been experiencing the same thing and I know Steve has mentioned the humidity negatively affecting his play as well. Keeps the balls on one end of the table, but sure doesn't break the rack up like a good break shot normally does. Nice shooting, although 41 at Ashland is low for you. And...was that Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Daya I hear in the background??

That's my 8mm camera and I don't have a tripod for it, so I have to get a little creative in mounting it. It's better than last time, though. :p

And yes, I was perfect for the break shot, just got careless and misjudged the shot with the inside english. That's the one thing I miss about the LD shaft (I did switch back to my original "conventional" shafts). Inside english shots were a lot easier with the Predator, but I ultimately couldn't get used to the other things about it and the smaller diameter. 13mm+ just feels so much more comfortable. If you ever saw my hands, you'd know why.
