Wondering if this had ever been done before? We see Ivory propellers all the time. But has anyone ever done mother of pearl propellers?

Have been considering doing MOP in my cues due to the Ivory ban. I think it kiils the price of the cue though - very high end cues.

Not happy at all

Always wondered how small MOP inlays were done, since the material is one easily cracked.

Since ivory is steadily becoming less atttractive to cue-makers due more stringent regs,
the use of different abalone and various ivory substitute materials will certainly be used,

Real MOP is very strong and hard. I have to slow the cutting speeds and feeds by 80% to keep from breaking my bits.
