I ordered a custom rugged case from him at BCA Nationals in Vegas a few summers ago, I had the pockets made custom to a certain size I needed and I still had it in 6 weeks... Great quality and the customer service was spot on. Case is still in great shape,( especially considering it rides in the back seat of my truck along with tons of my Carpentry tools), John and his wife and employees are all very easy to deal with. I bought another case off the wall last summer from them at the tournament as well.

Nothing to worry about, just pick out what you want and order it, you will not be disappointed.
 
Well I have 8 of his cases in the room here with me and have had like 12-15 total from John & Karen, so it's safe to say I'm a fan.
 
Just placed my order for a custom rugged case. It took me a while to pull the trigger as I designed 4 different versions and then kept tweaking them for color, art designs etc, etc. Actually, it was fun using John's "build a case" software. Now I'm really excited but will have to wait ..................... hopefully not too long. :thumbup:

I like my cases like my cues, custom built in America. Melton is my pick for a case that has equal gravitas as my cues. I am guilty of being partial to tropical woods in my cues and exotic hides for my cases..

Shouldn't you use woods and hides from America also?
 
I recently received my JB custom case. I am extremely satisfied. In terms of communication, I experienced something new. First off, I received a text of the submitted design to verify that is what I wanted, I then received a text with pictures of the process halfway through to verify I liked what I was looking at before they finished buttoning it up. I then received yet again more pictures of the final product prior to shipping to verify I was happy with how it came out. This is the first time I have experienced such steady communication on a custom item from anyone I have ordered from. A+++++
