You said the pics did not do it justice, and I am a bit new to the online buying thing, not meaning to insult or be picky.
In the first pic the butt and forearm look more brown, close up pics look grey.
Beautiful cue either way! (Gotta admit partial to the brown)
I live in W. Wash. and would drive to you for any actual transaction.
 
Pics suck...no way around it! lol

The burl wood is a blonde color with more gray colors in it, not brown..
