Bruce Warner, one of the Southwest Regional Directors, has been elected
to the office of President by the USBA Board of Directors to replace the
recently vacated position held by Dennis Dieckman.

We are excited about the choice and wish Bruce the very best in his new position.

I think I can speak for almost all of the USBA members in wishing Bruce Warner the best.

We need to get to work!

Dennis may be gone as President, but he continues to have good ideas and will stay very involved in trying to make 3C big again!

Thank you Dennis and Steve.

I am honored and privileged to be the new President of the USBA, particularly because I am succeeding Dennis who has demonstrated his remarkable vigor and long dedication to carom billiards. I will serve to the best of my ability. We have a lot of energy on the Board and I am confident that together we can accomplish great things for this wonderful game and for the USBA.

My "door" will always be open for communications by phone (310-738-5429) or e-mail (through the USBA website--just go to http://www.usba.net/contactus.asp). I hope all of our Members and others interested in the carom game will feel free to communicate to me their questions or any new idea or to let me know if he or she believes something I am doing (or the USBA is doing) should be done differently.

Thank you Bruce for your kind words......I am certainly going to stay in touch  Did you know my girl friend in NYC says the same: "remarkable vigor and long dedication" when she talks about me to her other girlfriends ?????? You might want to be thinking about 10-13 MAR near PHILLY at HOPKINs 2011 of BEING THERE........IN FACT EVERYBODY WHO READS THESE WORDS SHOULD PLAN ON BEING THERE If THEY LOVE CAROMS......just ask PQB !!!

FUTURE NATIONALS: the perfect time and place for the USBA yearly nationals is AFTER EASTER [ALL THE RATES DOWN] in the SOUTH Florida area........every year there.....build some sort of retirement community ???? REMEMBER ALL YOU NEED IS FOUR TABLES TO PUT ON A WORLD CLASS EVENT

THIS IS YOUR IDEA BRUCE.....a national training center and if you have that then a prior that is where the nationals MUST be held every year. IMHO SOFLO trumps SOCAL......you get it going ANYPLACE and I will support it and your efforts.

ONE QUESTION: does Bruce need to sit for a better picture with out the glasses or what....???? that is one of the reasons i quit is that they didn't like the pictures they asked me to send them in the first place....
