• Full lifetime warranty on the table!!
Brunswick would not honor a warranty on my newly purchased GC4 as my dealer/distributor was not an Authorized Brunswick dealer. Also I believe the warranty is for the original owner. Please excuse my comments but the buyer should know exactly what they are getting... with no surprises.

What was wrong with the table?
After 12 years a rail turned to stone. Rubber was like a brick. And if Brunswick would have honored it they would have sent 1 rail. They wanted the rail back for inspection. Labor was not included to remove the dead rail and to replace the new one. They did everything they could to avoid recourse.

I posted in case any buyers think the tables are covered...they are not.

I absolutely agree that the buyer should know exactly what they are getting. I wouldn't want someone to be unhappy with the table that they purchased from me and I wouldn't conclude the deal until they are 100% satisfied with their purchase. I would even go as far as giving them 10 days to play on the table and truly get the true feel for the table they just purchased. But I am a little reticent about doing that, especially with me not being an authorized Brunswick dealer

What does "reticent" mean? If you're "a little reticent", does that mean we can still return the table within the first 10 days of purchase if not happy / satisfied? It's a little confusing.

Lastly, what are the disadvantages of making a purchase from someone that's not an authorized Brunswick dealer?

Not busting stones...serious questions! :)

If the table is sold used there is no warranty. It’s only for the original buyer/owner. Like yourself I have no intention of harming the sale. Just clarifying the warranty.
Advantage of not buying (new) from an authorized dealer…. Can most likely get a better price and installation

Yes, you are correct that normally used tables do not come with a warranty of any kind. And by saying reticent about issuing a 10 day return if you aren't happy guarantee means that I am opening myself up for taking a big risk that could possibly cost me time and money that I would not be able to recoup. And honestly, and you can probably agree with me on this point I'm about to make. The table being offered is a Gold Crown 6 and in like new condition. Once installed anyone who has any basic knowledge of the basic key factors that are most important to the playability of a table would be able to make a pretty sound inspection to concur that the table is performing as it should and that it has in fact been installed with precision. So with that being said, once the installation is completed and the client then does a thorough inspection of the table and thoroughly checks the playability of the table in multiple aspects, the client should be able to make a sound decision as to if he is satisfied or not with the table that has been delivered and installed. Once a client states that he is completely satisfied with the table and states that he is satisfied with the quality of the installation, those key aspects are enough to consider the sale final and concluded with both parties satisfied with the finalization of the deal. I don't know how much more thorough I can be regarding the sale of a relatively new table being sold as "used" bc it's a little over a year old and has seen very little use. I hope this helps.

In conclusion, the advantage of buying from an authorized Brunswick dealer is the warranty, which is very seldom ever put into use,so it is a good selling point to give the customer piece of mind knowing that their purchase is protected. However, the majority of customers buying a new table aren't aware of the low percentage of the chance that warranty will ever be needed. And as far as pricing, there is no way a dealer is going to be willing to sell a Brunswick Gold Crown 6 Tournament Edition model table for anywhere near the price of what I am offering one for. That's the only advantage and disadvantage of buying from an authorized Brunswick dealer and a second hand table broker

Just curious, .... where is 'desert pool tables' located? In the desert somewhere?
Az.?

I don't understand all the discussion on this. They're described as used in like-new condition. If you want a GCVI Tournament table, the price either works for you or does not.
Most important is to see what is being purchased. In person or pictures. Otherwise it’s on the buyer.

I can post additional photos of each of the tables instead of just one if it helps, but honestly, it will just look like duplicate pictures bc they are all in the same like new condition.

Maybe post a little more about yourself/company. Location etc?

My name is Scotty Biddle and I'm a former restaurant equipment broker/ wholesaler from Jackson,Ms who recently relocated here to Mesa to be close to my elderly parents. I'm just starting out and trying a new venture. I'm looking into renting a commercial space focusing on pinball machines and offering service/repair, which is my specialty. I am going to include some second hand pinball machines, shuffleboard tables, dart boards and some used pool tables. I became very well apt with buying all the restaurant equipment from restaurants which had failed. I am attempting to apply the same model to the home entertainment industry by buying used pool tables, pinball machines and entertainment devices. I'm very excited to start this new venture and learning about an industry that has always fascinated me. If you ever need any advice on any gaming devices from pinball machines to arcades, please feel free to contact me. Thanks
