$500 break cue

If you needed a break cue and had $500, what would you buy? Open to custom or production cues.

Forgot to mention Bromine's all dymalux break cues will weigh around 20oz and more.

He can make one that weighs less if he makes shaft and forearm out of dymalux and handle.... down out of a lite piece of wood.

Make the pin G10 and I believe he could get one in ballpark of 18oz.

Nothing better than having a 18oz cue that moves the ball like a 25oz cue. VERY little effort needed.

A bromine cue hits tons better than ANY Gilbert by a mile. I've hit break cues from jj cheapo to expensive as you can imagine and I promise Bromine break or JB cues are in a league of their own.

They are dymalux. His taper is better than Brick's, Lane's, Lomax Gilbert and anyone else you can think of ........ bar NONE.

BTW, he is a newcomer compared to most so his price is WWWAAAYYY below what it should be.

You that know me in person, take my word, his ues will triple in value very soon.
Posts like this will make me never want to look at one.

You might want to step off the gas pedal and remember that your posting to a lot of people that also have as much passion for the game and equipment as you do.

Everyone has their own taste.

Naw, just really like his work.

Plus, not many makers with his skills today. Gonna be a great if be keeps at it.

Facts is facts...

BK1 Bk2

I fully support the idea of hunting down an ol BK1 or BK2. I have both with samsara tips and much prefer them over alot of the new stuff out there. Ebay usually has some up.

Could you expand on this?

The shaft of the Dark Matter is painted, so it's tacky and gets sticky. My tip on it broke apart after a week of use. The butt-end is metal and hard and isn't comfortable.

The shaft on BK Rush is nice and slick. I have the one with the sports grip and love it -- very nice to grip. It's the best breaking cue I've ever owned. It shatters the balls and gives a great spread.
