Hi guys..Can anyone tell me what happen to 5280 after Corey Deuel left them? They seem to stop producing new models after that.

They still make and sell cues as far as I know. they recently changed the style of the butt of there cue, I dont really like it myself. Myt father has one of the older ones, it hit pretty good for a production cue.

I see...Well..I own a 5280 cue too. I really like the hit as it's a radial pin on a wood-to-wood joint. Never really heard about the new style of their cues. Can you show me some links to see their new models?

discontinued?

Why are they being discontinued? I know that cuestix.com is where to get them, and they are very affordable. Good for a new player with a limited budget. I was just curious if the sales were so low that they are getting rid of them.

It was Cory Duell's model. He is not with them anymore.

In my opinion, some were nice looking cues. The problem that I had with them was the had serious quality issues for the amount of money they wanted and I stopped selling them. My personal feeling was that, there were other cues that had better quality for the same money. I'm not saying they're all bad but as a dealer and I buy 20 and I have to send half of them back for one reason or another, I don't need the headache or the hassle.:(
I still have 5 or 6 laying around.
