I have a couple questions for you DP NEWS. Just a scenario if a player signed up from Michigan just a example and paid his entry fee already because he looked at your website to see if he could play in the amatuer tournament in which according to your website he fit all the qualifications. Then this player traveled to the tournament to play and someone who seen him play before at a tournament said this guy plays real good. Will he get to play? I am asking because just want to see how he or she is chosen to play or not. Also what if a guy came from over seas in which noone knew anything about him in the states. He fit the criteria cause he never played in any tournaments in the U.S. before. He played in the tourney and steam rolled it. What would you do in that case?

BUMP!

Good question Juice,
I'm interested in DP,s answer also?

whats diferents between vip an other 1

Im assuming its the first row(Maybe 1st and 2nd) of seating around the tables. But dont quote me on that. I dont know the setup, but honestly I dont think it would be worth the VIP seating. But thats just judging from other Pro-Events Ive seen.

Had a good time overall. Saw some good games, watched some funny ass shit, seen some hustlers and enjoyed watching the Pros. Hats off to Keith and his entire staff! Food and service was top! The Dragon and his crew also did a smooth job running all the tourneys.

Who won the nine-ball and the 9-ball on sunday?
I had a great time there also, great staff and top notch equipment.
I wish I could have played better though,I need to practice more.
All the folks I met down there are way cool.

Emerald"s

I agree everything was wonderful at Emerald's. Keith and Lisa are top notch host and the rest of the staff are there to help with anything. I met a lot of people and it was very cool. I can't wait to do this again next year. I got to meet all the pros and stream a lot of matches helping out ig Truck. I hope everyone was happy with the stream and Big Truck really works hard on the show. I am just there to help the best I can. Mitch it was cool to meet you and even play some cheap sets. I am sure we will do it again sometime down the line. Once agin thanks to Emerald's and DP for bringing a great event to the great state of LOUISIANA.

Whats ur name toolman, I was there and played amateurs, trying to put a name, face, with id on here........

Yea it was nice to meet you too Glen, and nice playing you. I know both of us werent shooting good speed when we played, but it was still fun to finally play! I was hit and miss all weekend. :frown:

JumpinJoe, what was your name? I also played in the Am Open, but didnt get to far. Lost my first match against Chris Viator 7-5. Won my second match against Boo Boo Hill-Hill, and lost my 3rd match, I cant remember his name, but he was a cool guy. Shorter guy, I think he went for $120ish in the calcutta. I ended up -$90 for the week gambling wise. Not bad considering Im a very cheap gambler. Lost to LA Toolman, and that Vegas guy on the Big Track. Made out even with Glen and a bigger guy named Troy. Also played Kevin L countless sets all weekend, with me ending up $20 ahead. But we gamble cheap sets all the time just for the hell of it. Had a blast and cant wait to go again!
