Hey Lee I really like the extra length of these collets and was wandering if you can make up a set to fit in the bearing of my steady rest for butt drilling and repairs if I send you the inner bearing surface dimension ?

Do these have just a single compression slot on one side ? It's hard to tell in the pics.

If so , how much runout are you seeing as the ID varies with different sized materials or are these more for just maintenance tasks and perhaps wraps ?

Price looks pretty good tho. Any thoughts on releasing a true self centering set ?
