Rick Howard Cues...

Rick Howard cues in general (and Shane's cue in particular) play as nice as any cue out there. I own 2 of them and have another on order with Rick. If you've read the posts on AZBilliards lately about most "underrated" and most "undervalued" cuemakers and cues - Rick was on almost every list!:D

Rick's work

Alot of people don't know Rick was in the top rated 40 players in the world at one time. Why would I mention this? Well I have known Rick for years he lives 20 minuites from me. I have watched as he has become a great cue maker over the years.His cues have always played great but were no where near the cue he makes now! I saw one of his cues the other day and I thought it was a Scruggs and couldn't believe that there was a Scruggs around here I didn't sell. So I asked the guy what it was and he said It's a Rick Howard. I am glad for Rick he is finally getting his coodoes. Rick is a perfectionist and is so nitty when it comes to his cues consctuction that I am suprised he ever finishes a cue. He is never satisffied unless the thing is perfect. Alot like Dennis Searing. It takes a great player to make a great playing cue and do it consistantly. And Rick is and Rick dose. Any one can get lucky and make a good playing cue now and then. Rick's cues just get better and better. Monster player. Monster cue.
 
I've played with this Rick Howard and it plays very very good. Just like every other Rick Howard I've hit with.:D

I'm still surprised at how low the bids are on this cue right now. It is definately worth a lot more.

What a neat cue. The red veneers really go well with the gaboon ebony. How much do you want for it?

Hey Shane, I am certain that this is nice cue due to the fact that Rick makes great cues. But selling it on ebay and the fact that the pictures are dark and do not clearly show the cues detail may hurt the price.
