60 Inch cues?

I've used a 60 inch cue since the mid seventies. I grew up playing snooker and billiards. I'm only about 5'8" and like the extra reach. I just got used to it. I've tried some very nice 58" sticks, even bought a couple, but I stiil like the feel of the extra 2". I ordered an OB1 at the DCC and Royce is making it 30" to match my 30" butt. I'm looking forward to receiving it (Like a kid in a candy store!) LOL

I have a 29" Predator that I really like, but I think I might like the OB1 even more.

I had an opportunity to try a OB-2, they are the nuts. But you have to be comfortable with a narrow shaft and the pivot point on a 29" shaft was right where I needed it. Don't know how a 30" would be I had a 30" OB-1 but couldn't really give any opinion on the deflection rating. The hit was nice though.

I really want one. I have a 76" wing span, to be perpendicular at address I havta hold the absolute back of cue.
Mike has a wing span like yours, Dawg. As some of you may remember, he would grasp the very end of his cue to include the rubber bumper on the end of it.
He contacted Predator and they made him a 62" cue. It is 32" with a Z2 30" shaft. I am not sure if it is a sneaky pete, a P2 or other. I do know it took a long time to get it. It also seems to have helped his game some if Reno is any indication.

I had to check your name for a second there thought this was my post. I too have a 76" reach and USED to shoot with a 60" cue. I gave it up and still wonder if made the correct decision.

They did have there benefits but I went back for reason I'd rather not get into.

You made the right decision to sell the 60" Varney, because I love it!!!

I'm about 6'3-6'4" and am very interested in getting a longer cue. I run into a problem that a fair number of you have posted. If I want, I can stretch well beyond the side pocket and feel more than comfortable bridging 6-8 inches behind the tip. But then I find that my back arm is already tight to my chest when I shoot. I guess a good follow up to this would be, who makes a very good, solid 60" plus cue that's reasonable (I can't even work because of a bad back as most of you know, so getting the wife to give me money for a cue means it needs to be economically savy)
