...because they wanted to find a game that Minnesota Fats could beat Willie Mosconi at. I remember watching a game years ago on tv between Fats and Mosconi, don't remember what they were playing or even who won, I think it was Mosconi but not sure. What I do remember is that Fats had Mosconi fuming with the trash talk. At one point he said Mosconi could only play good with house money on the line, and Mosconi pulled a wad of money out of his pocket to show Fats that he would play for his own money.
