This JW is super rare because it has a brass joint and matching brass rings. This is the only cue I am aware of that Billy used brass. The cue was ordered by the original owner from Billy when he made cues here locally. This cue is in original condition and has not been re-done. Cue weight is 20.0 oz, the shaft is 12.85 mm. The original ferrule is ivory and is cracked which will need to be replaced. Ultra rare cue needing a new home; looking for $1200 or reasonable offer. Raildriver

Wow! An early '70s all-original JW!!
Super-collectible. A rare find indeed.

PS: I'm pretty sure you could count on your hands the number of split-butt cues that Billy made....

You're right, split-butts should be fairly common. However, I have yet to see a JW with a brass joint! How about you? I would venture to say this is the first you have ever seen; am I right??
