72 Ball Run

good shooting and nice kick, it feels real good when you nail a kick like that. I like your rhythm and wish I didnt have to slow down so much just to see the patterns.

Had Two Good Runs

I had two good runs tonight: 70 & a 51.
The 70 ended with miss on a long down the rail cut shot & I also missed the rack with the cue ball. The 51 ended with a scratch. (cut shot in the lower left corner with the cue ball on he bottom rail. Cue ball travel right into the right corner pocket)...... ugly.

jesus, 70 every 2-3 days huh ? if we ever play togther you have to give me 50 in a race to 100 lol

No way, I'll most likely choke and you will be the one to run 70 on me.....

I practice for one hour today and had a 59. Will try again tonight to do better.

In the Land of the 70's

How i wish to be that consistent...

I ran 72 just a little while ago. I thought, I had over 100
I had forgotten that I had a miss in the run. I watch the video back. I ran 33, then missed a combo in the rack, then I ran 72. I was all excited....LOL
What a let down. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

I'm Still Trying

Ran another 71 last night, with the cue ball getting stuck in the rack to end it.
Will try again later today.

Mike you´re killing me with your 70´s ! just wonder why it´s 71 or 72 all the time lol....had a 56 myself today before i screwed it up....

Great shooting Mike! I'm going to have to join that league at Volcano's whenever the next season comes around (any idea when that is?). Are these runs on 8-foot or 9-foot tables?

League

Great shooting Mike! I'm going to have to join that league at Volcano's whenever the next season comes around (any idea when that is?). Are these runs on 8-foot or 9-foot tables?

This league season ends at the end of this month. I believe that I still have 4 matches to play. Here is the director's e-mail: tickinon@charter.net
His name is Herman.

All my runs are at home on my 9' table.
I did have the best high run in the league last season and have the 2nd highest this season. Hopefully I can get it with these 4 matches remaining.

Very nice! I'll have to remind Herman to e-mail me! :p

In practice, I've been hitting 30s quite often, but that 40 has been eluding me for some time now. Of course when me and my friend play, we go for a lot of low percentage shots we shouldn't try in league play.

71

Ran 71 tonight.
I had a great set up on a break shot from behind the rack and a perfect
set up to get on it from about 6 balls out. It was connect the dots when it came to position for the break. Wouldn't you know it. I get out of line from the 13th ball to the 14th (key ball) which caused me to get too straight on the break ball. Made the break but got stuck behind the rack.
The End.

If I do not do better in a week. I will post it. Good Italian music in the back ground.

watch out that don´t get in your mind that you run 70 all the time ! You might get trouble running more balls when this happens...still you can be proud to run 70 so often...

A friend called a local magazine company about me and feed them all kinds of stuff. Well, they called and I accepted their interview offer. Turns out I am in this month's issue.
The photo of me was taken back in Jan.
I have lost 49 lbs since then. I had type II diabetes & high blood pressure and had to be put on medication. Since I lost the weight. My reading are all in the normal range. The Doc said that I will be stopping the medication soon. Feeling great and it's easier playing pool.
Anyways, here is the Link:

great article... my dad used to live in pecan hill.

being in-shape has got to improve your game. just watching the miz wallow around the table made me tired and even slightly nauseous. i don't understand how he could play like that.

generally, if you eat like most people, you will suffer the same rates of disease and decrepitude as they. my basic mantra for life is 'do the opposite'. look what is in the shopping carts at the store, then look at the person who's pushing that cart. if you don't want to look like them, don't put that crap in your cart. well, with the notable exception of beer.
