That second billboard posted by JAM says, 'free flights and hotel for main stage players', that's attractive, it's even in english. The ease of entry is important for attracting new players.
Interesting the every poster about this event and all over Facebook has the American dollar sign before the number of payouts. I doubt that organizers have mixed up Chinese yuan/remnibi and dollars when creating the posters.I suspect that its chinese currency being advertised

Scanned thru this. no way anyone is gonna watch an entire match this long. Tough game but dull as hell to watch.I'm a wee bit surprised at the skepticism about this upcoming event on this thread. It is a huge payout, no matter what country in the world you hail from.
The prize money on their FB page says, and I quote, " the first place prize money is. USD730K."
Zhao Ruliang VS Zhang Kunpeng in the 2022 finals of the Joy Cup Heyball Masters Players Championship Changzhou.
The World Snooker Championship has been 500,000 pounds, just over US$600,000, for quite a few years now. It's interesting that Joy and Matchroom show the payouts in dollars.
Aside from the IPT, this is the largest payout in a pocket billiards game I have ever seen.
Isn't it nice that there is another event in the world that is offering high payouts? I don't know why some pessimistic about this event. Not you, but the general tone of this thread has really gone downhill. Instead of celebrating a high payout, it seems there are those who think it sucks because it's boring or it's not U.S. dollars or it's not this or it's not that. Good grief, man! I'm sorry I started the thread. The World Snooker Championship has been 500,000 pounds, just over US$600,000, for quite a few years now.
Play the butthurt victim as usual. Always someone else to blame. Look, it is boring to watch. Bu-bye. As an aside, a Joy representative contacted me on Facebook and asked if I'd be interested in attending. I first had to explain that I am a railbird, not a player. But I thanked him and said I would not be able to.

I agree that it is sad how your thread has devolved. Yet I'm still glad that you posted it Jam. That's a whole lotta moolah! I seem to remember Shane being greatly impressed with the respect and treatment that not only he received, but that all the players received. Rockstar status-like stuff.Isn't it nice that there is another event in the world that is offering high payouts? I don't know why some pessimistic about this event. She's been doing this forever. Someone doesn't agree with everything she says she gets all defensive and pulls out the victim card. It is a brutally tough game but its also boring as fk to watch. Why do you think there's a time limit? Non-regular Ch8B players go to chase the big $ and i can't blame them but that's about the only time any of them play it. Hey Jen, did you or any of that lame Shaw posse ever apologize to Bill's over that bogus poisoning deal?? Probably not.I agree that it is sad how your thread has devolved. What's obvious (at least to me) are devolving (not necessarily yours) comments. My familiarity with Chinese 8 Ball is probably on a par with yours. The game doesn't bore me at all. Snooker matches are pretty much the same and I watch those - great skill. Many others do too. It's all in the eye of the beholder. She's been doing this forever. I have refrained from replying to you on many occasions. You seem to enjoy targeting people on this forum quite often with your flippant posts and, in some cases, bullying tactics. I don't take it personal anymore because you do this to many members of this pool forum, not just me.She's been doing this forever. I'm not sure, but there's a thread about this event on Facebook. I'll see if I can find out more info.Is Gareth Potts still the king of Chinese 8 Ball?
