My question is can a valley barbox be completely taken
apart.?
I need to move one into my basement but it looks tricky , with stairs an a sharp corner, I don't see maneuvering it around to get it down stairs, also theres the question of the slate and getting it down. Any suggestions. Thanks

The valley table is not designed to be deconstructed in such a way.
Trashed or junk valley tables get disassembled with a sledge hammer to fit in the dumpster. The box is glued and fastened with brads and staples.
It can be done but I suggest you stay far away from that can of worms unless you get new body panels.

If the slate won't fit, problem solved, go find a 3 piece slate table.

The slate will be the easy part to get down the steps and around the corner, it's the bulky box that you'll wrestle with...
I'd try the box first before the slate' of course take the legs off.

Best of luck.
