8 and 9 ball tournaments

Hi

Im looking to find out when and where some open tournaments are in the New England area. I am not ranked with any organization just looking for open tournaments

Many pool halls hold tournaments. Snookers Wed, place called Run em Racks has some on 7 footers often, that is an APA shop so if you don't have a rating you may need someone to vouch for you for the skill. Amazin Billiards in Malden has some. Yale I think puts on some. Ivory Billiards in Holyoke has tournaments. Place I play out of Green Room has had some but it tapered off, everyone calls to see who is there so of course no one actually shows up to play since everyone is looking for someoen else to go there first LOL

Not sure if they still have tournaments, but I played out of a nice room in Nashua, NH about 7 years ago. Good food, good equipment, and they held some weekly tournaments.

I think Boston Billiards is there (the last one of those around), no idea if they have tournaments now. It's mostly a casino now with poker not really a pool hall anymore. Last time I was there was probably 4 or 5 years ago and the staff seems amazed that someone wanted a pool table to use and seemed a bit confused about the procedure LOL I think there was one other table in use by a bunch of guys in suits or something.
