Just for fun, lets hone our 8 ball thinking skills. The 7 ball dropped on the break. What to do?

6 by the 4, draw back to 3, then 2 by the 4, roll up to bank the 5 in side, then 4, 1,8. Not easy, but its there.

I might start by banking the 5 while it's there.

It's a runnable table for solids but definitely not easy. For me, the key is whether or not the 4-ball is blocking the corner pocket for the 6 and 2. If not, we're off to the races.

I'd look to pocket the 6 and draw back for near-straight position on the 3. From there, I'm getting position on the 2 in the lower right corner with an angle that will allow me to float into the 15. With the 15 stopping my cue-ball, I should have a playable angle on the 5. After that, it's duck-duck-duck and I'm out.

I would start with the six, draw back for the 3, shoot the 2 past the four in the upper right.

Then I would see how I lied after the 2 and hopefully attempt a bank or safe on the 5 ball depending on how it lied.

The other two solids and 8 are open and you can easily move the 5 and play a decent safe with out opening up your opponents stripes.

Onto the next! :D

I like the idea of banking the 5. You could play a stop on the 6, bank the 5 and run into the 11 for position on the 3.

It looks like the 10 passes... If its me then I'm playing the 2-13(?) combo, rolling forward a little for the 12(?) in the same pocket. You can even nudge the 2 stripes in the middle if you need to. From there looks to be an easy out.

Bank the 5...should be able to park whitey on the 13...3 in the corner..
..2 in the corner table-length...hold for 6 in the side....
three more hangers and collect the money.

That's my plan...I've had a few that didn't work out.:o

10 does not quite pass the 4.

I'd bank the 5 first pull straight back for a shot on the 6 or 4. From there it is about getting from the 3 to the 2.

If you play the 10 between the 4 and the rail is it dropping?? Its awfully close to the pocket. If it's easily makeable I'm sticking with stripes, I'd rather not shoot a bank if I don't have to.

Otherwise as others said I'd start with the bank on the 5.

First thing I would do is get those pesky white bugs off of the table. They are making me see things.
