Dry break! What to do?

A complicated one! Need to have an easy touch and be able to work within a couple diamonds. Classic bar table 8 ball.

1. Cut the 15 to the 1.5 diamond on the left short rail, using follow to carom lightly into the 14-12 combo. The goal is to ticky the 15 off the back side of the 7 and clear the way for the 11.
2. Next, use the hanging 14 to get back on the 11 for the lower left corner.
3. Drift down to rail for the newly positioned 15, same pocket.
4. Combo the 11-9 into the upper right corner.
5. Use low right to pocket the 13 and draw sharply off the bottom long rail (Diamond 2) for position on the 10 in lower right corner. Or low left to draw the cueball shallowly of the bottom side rail for the 10 in the upper right corner.
6. From there, it's 8 in the lower side pocket - unless you were lucky and 7 didn't block the lower left corner after the ticky.

Anyone choosing solids?

6 into the 12, either cutting or off the rail to get the 6 out of the way of the 14. Use the resulting angle on the 14 to break that mess up down there. Then run out. :p

Crazy table..cut the two to the corner, then use the one to play safe..no need
to run the mess..or I go with the combo..using the 7..but I'm going to hit it pretty firm.
over size 7' table..I want stuff moving..I'm not very good
with viewing screen lay outs..who breaks like that..lol

it also looks like you have room to play the seven threw the exsisting ball
as well..just saying.

How do you use the one to play safe when the 10 is visible downtable and possibly bankable or cut-able?

Great thread! I Like seeing how differently people will run the pattern, even if it only changes by a ball or two. Keep them coming.....

your right my bad..the ball next to the one..The plan is drop that duck..it looked like a guy could have cut the one off the rail in to the ball in front of the duck..pushing yet another strip on the rail..yes that would the strip down table to play..with a big mess
up table..so if the one doesn't pass..then I try the same thing with the
ball next to the one..

I'm viewing this on my phone..I can't read the numbers on the balls..
and I'm colored blind..lol..

I liked your analysis, seems like caroming from the 15 to the 12 is the key to the rack.

For fun... I can see a theoretical run for solids, and it's not that bad.
There's a single iffy shot to start it.

Soft draw on the 6 ball so it hits the 12 right in the face and then follows it in.
From the 2nd pic it looks like it passes the 14.
You need to be accurate but you happen to be less than 6 inches away. I'd feel 90% to make this ball if the 14's not interfering.

Draw back to about where the cue ball is now, so that you have a slight 'downhill' angle on the 5 in the other corner.
Pop it in with follow, with the goal of hitting the bottom rail and then
having the cue ball come back up and hit the 11 flush, or hits between the 11-7.
This solves the 7.

From there the rest of the balls are wide open, roll your own.

i'd take the little ones for sure... maybe not a runout (for me) but there are more options and looks easier to me than the high balls.

That's what I was thinking was the key to the solids... Call the 6 to follow the 12.

Creedo

I like your plan,I to saw this..but with my luck..I'd hang the six..
I was just having fun with the table..and I most likely would have
lost..then your cut on the five getting up on the other side of that
strip..me I'd probably hit it bad an be tied up on it..not alway..just
being honest with myself..
