Be cool when at the Nationals if both teams went Hill Hill ....then what would happen next is similar to what the Olympic hockey rules are. Each team then chooses their Best player to go heads up with the other sides pick. That would be Very neat to watch and cause excessive cheering. Make it 9 ball race to three....even tho its and 8 ball match.
 
I almost agree...I would stick to the game you're hill-hill in. That is the way we did our State ACS tournament this year (except it was a single game...I like your race better). It is more fair than any other method...unless you flipped a coin to choose who plays.

Ok, make it 8 ball, race ta two, send in your best player.
 
I rethunk this a little today. Since it's a Team event, Make it 8ball, shoot a single game 'Scotch' style (think Scotch Doubles) with all the team players alternating shots...one shot per person and no coaching. Use your normal line up to play the game.

That way the whole team is involved and no monster player on one team can't do it all. It is a team event, so let the team win it.

Yep, like the coach said to his hockey Team, the name on the front of the jersey is allot more important than the name on the back....
